The global mode estimates of the different Modal Estimators can be viewed in the associated Model List.

You can select the mode or modes using either the mouse, keyboard or the Up/Down buttons in the toolbar .

This list lists by default the following values:

In addition, you can in the Properties window enable showing of mode details:

In this Mode Shape Details view the following values are listed:

Deleting a Mode

By selecting one or more modes in the list you can delete them by clicking the button .

Exporting Modes to a File

The selected modes can be saved to a file by clicking the button . The file types are either Universal File Format or SVS File Format.

Universal File Format

Below is a the file shown when exporting the selected mode above. All files start with UFF Data Sets that describe the global geometry. These are UFF Data Set 15 (Nodes), UFF Data Sets 82 (Trace Lines) and UFF Data Set 2412 (Surfaces). After this section there are as many UFF Data Sets 55 as there where modes selected for export.

SVS File Format

Alternatively to the Universal File Format there is an SVS File Format. The idea of this format is to use a number of keyword followed by values specific to that block. The philosophy is the same as for the SVS Configuration File. Since there can be information about multiple modes saved in the same file, each mode definition start with the keyword BEGIN MODE DEFINITION and ends with the keyword END MODE DEFINITION. Below is a the file shown when exporting the selected mode above.
